Grand Crew Whiskey
August 30th, 2009Well it has been a while since we did our last post, but 107b has been busy, we have attended the Fleadh in Tullamore, and we are now back in Ballycommon at the junction of the Grand Canal and the dry Kilbeggan branch. The reason we are here is because we have taken delivery of two whiskey casks, which we are transporting to Dublin the first time in 50+ years. See the video below.
In Hazelhatch
April 10th, 2009107b is now in Hazelhatch. Three days were spent bringing her from Ballycommon in Co. Offaly to Hazelhatch in Co. Kildare. We are getting a rolling section of roof put on the barge so that we can lift in and out large displays, namely the Bollinder engine which we hope to display.
So starting on Sunday 29th March, 2009 leaving Ballycommon at 9am and heading for Hazelhatch.
We will be posting reports here during the day and video on our website. So some and join us on our trip
