For those of you following 107b, we departed Tullamore harbour today at about 3pm, heading for Naas at Easter. All went well with no problems with the boat. We are glad to report the canal is in good condition, and we had the assistance of lock keepers. We will be on the move tomorrow (Sunday 24/02/08) heading for Ballycommon. We will report back tomorrows progress.

107b will hopefully depart Tullamore harbour on Sunday (24/02/08) morning on its way to take part in the IWAI Kildare branch rally in Naas at the easter weekend.
The top of a boatman’s cabin was donated to us during the winter. It was always our plan to restore the boatman’s cabin on 107b. The top has now been welded onto the vessel and the deck cut away underneath, giving us much more headroom.
During the season we will be fitting out the cabin and we will use it as a crew quarters while on trips.
