We departed today and are now at Tullamore. We will be departing Tullamore on Monday about 11am, and we are heading for Portumna, we will also be on the move on Tuesday, and hope to be in Shannon Harbour on Tuesday. As ususl we will be posting photos and videos of the trip. Don’t forget to keep an eye on our location map.

107B in Naas

October 24th, 2009

On Wednesday 21st October 107B left Hazelhatch and headed off for Sallins and Naas.  It was a good trip with no canal issues to report, infact the canal was the perfect canal, and some of you may remember that we were towed through the same sections of canal earlier in the year on the way to Tullamore.  We arrived at Leinster Mills (2nd Lock Naas) at about 6pm, where we stayed for the night.  On Thursday 22nd October we headed up to Naas along with some other boats and barges.  Today Saturday (24th Otcober 2009) at 2pm the HBA fleet of barges in moving into Naas Harbour, don’t forget to come and join in the fun for the weekend.

New Look

October 2nd, 2009

We have at last revamped our website and we hope you enjoy it.  We will be able to provide you with more content, video and audio posts.

To keep you up to date with the “Grand Crew” trip, we are now able to confirm that 107b & 45m will be in Dublin at Portobello on Tuesday 6th October, where there will be a small ceremony to hand over the cargo of whiskey casks.  This will take place about 5pm.  107B will then depart Dublin later that week (possibly Thursday morning) and head for Naas for the October weekend.  If you are in Dublin on Tuesday evening why not join us.
